Can Bearded Dragons Eat Apricots

While apricots are a great source of Vitamin A, you should not feed your beardie regular apricots. This fruit is too acidic for your pet’s digestive system, and it may even cause diarrhea. However, you can give your dragon a few slices of apricot a week. The important thing to remember is that you should never feed your beardie more than five slices of apricot a day.

The ratio of calcium to phosphorous in the diet of your beardie is ideal, and apricots are a great source of calcium. Aside from calcium, apricots contain a variety of nutrients, including Vitamin B6 and potassium. While apricots are not high in protein, they do contain sufficient amounts of this mineral. Your beardie will not get enough potassium from this food, and it may even lead to kidney stones.

Apricots are a great choice for your beardie, but they should only be offered in small amounts. They contain too much water, so they are not healthy for your beardie. While dried apricots are not the best choice for beardie owners, they can still be a good option if you are trying to provide them with a healthy and balanced diet. But, you should avoid dried apricots, as they contain more sugar than fresh fruits. Also, avoid feeding your dragon dried apricots. They contain oxalates and may cause abdominal discomfort in your dragon. Artichoke hearts are an excellent alternative to apricots but you should only feed these to your beardie once a week.

You should never feed your beardie apricots more than one day. It would be better if you feed your beardie apricots once every few days or so. They will get enough nutrients without too much fruit. And remember that apricots should make up a tiny portion of the diet. Just keep in mind that they need a balance of calcium and phosphorus in their diet to remain healthy.

Lastly, do not give apricots to your beardie on a regular basis. They do not chew on food as humans do. The same applies to people who are unable to keep their pets alive due to lack of calcium. They should only be fed a small amount of calcium-rich foods. If you’re not able to give your pet apricots, you should offer your pet dried apricots.

In addition to calcium, apricots are rich in soluble fiber. This helps your beardie digest food and prevent bloating. It also contains potassium, which is vital for bearded dragons’ health. It also improves the immune system and helps with digestion. This fruit is a good choice for your beardiet. If you aren’t sure if your pet will enjoy apricots, you can always check with the breeder.

Yes, you can give your bearded dragon dried apricots, but you should be cautious. The high amount of water in apricots can lead to digestive problems, including diarrhea.
